About Philip Gabriel Photography

After taking his first photography classes (where he first met Gabe Cariola, lovingly referred to as G2!) at Delaware County Community college in 1999, Gabe knew he had found a true love for taking and creating photographs. Gabe loved experimenting in the dark room, and pushing the boundaries of what photography truly was. Something about the instant gratification of capturing a moment and watching it come to life was much more gratifying to Gabe than any other form of graphic or digital design.

G2 and Gabe went on to continue their professional journeys as artists, studying studio art and photography together at Temple’s Tyler School of Art in 2001. (Fun Fact: Gabe and G2 were roommates at Tyler! Gabe missed his graduation ceremony because of a photoshoot with Philadelphia Insurance Company who have been our clients for over 15 years!) The two were partners in crime ever since.

As the company began to grow with one-of-a-kind additions to the team like Monica Picciau, a fellow Tyler graduate, so did our clientele and our office space. PGP started to become a well known name in the area, and began to work with some larger corporate and commercial clients like HOLTS cigar company, Aramark, IKEA, WAWA, Insomnia Cookies and many more! Philip Gabriel continues to be referred by many of the area’s wedding and event venues, Four Seasons Hotel, Finley Catering, The Ritz Carlton, The Rittenhouse Hotel, The Logan Hotel, Overbrook GC, Aronimink GC and The W Hotel to name a few. In 2010, Philip Gabriel Photography made the official move to our current beautiful office and photo studio located at 201 North Providence Road in Media, Pennsylvania just outside of the city. PGP now operates with a full team of some of the area’s best photographers, fine artists, and post production wizards.

Today, Philip Gabriel Photography is in full bloom and better than ever, ready to capture every moment big or small for any occasion! While our company has evolved vastly over the years, our core values remain the same.
