Last night we had THE BEST night celebrating @savannahkelly_ and @demock27... @philipgabrielphotography - I haven't seen our pictures yet but this team - OMG - I can't even begin to say how great they were. Gabe's (photographer) assistant Virginia went above and beyond to make sure Savannah's every need was met - she took care of things that had nothing to do with photography, but everything to do with customer service. She even sewed Savannahs dress strap when it snapped just moments before the ceremony. The whole team was such a pleasure to work with. I feel like we had THE BEST TEAM EVER!!!! Over one month later, and we still cannot stop talking about Gabe and Julia and how much they made a difference throughout the entirety of our wedding day! Immediately, you can tell how professional they are and that they are clearly experienced. Once we got comfortable with each other, they made this very anxious bride feel completely taken care of. We drove around the city with them where they were committed to every part of the experience my husband and I were looking for. Even during chaotic full family photos, Gabe and Julia stayed organized, on task, and professional. My (not engaged) sister looked at me during those photos and said "I found my wedding photographer". I had the pleasure of working with Gabe for a family photo shoot this past week. At first I wasn't sure how my introverted family was going to act in front of the camera, but from minute one my mother, father, sister, and wife felt very comfortable. At one point I saw my 58 year old dad doing a "tiger" face as if he were a male model. 2020 has been a really tough year. Easily the biggest highlight for us was our wedding which just preceded the onset of the COVID pandemic. And we will be eternally thankful to Gabe “G2” Cariola and the entire Philip Gabriel Photography team for the huge role they played in making our day so special. Gabe immediately put us at ease. We did an engagement shoot with him 9 Months before the wedding and it was a great warm up for the main event. For those of you who are a bit shy in front of the camera, Gabe is so easy to work with and goes out of his way to make you feel comfortable. Our wedding was in January, and Gabe had the not so easy task of whisking us around Old City Philadelphia, trying to keep us warm and getting great shots—to say he and his second shooter succeeded is an understatement. You really feel special as multiple photographers, lighting specialists and others make sure your day goes perfectly. We’re not even sure how Gabe got some of the shots during the ceremony—he must have been hanging off the ceiling like Spiderman! He’s also got a great sense of humor and is a good sport, which is very important when you’ll be spending all day together and he has to put up with family members not always sticking to the meticulously planned out photo order! We were so happy with how the shots came out. We’re working with Nicole now on our album and can’t wait to see it. I know we’ll be coming back the next time we need lifetime memories. Philip Gabriel Photography was fantastic to work with! They are very professional and have great attention to detail. They did the photography for our wedding and Gabe, Sean, and Kate were all wonderful. They setup a beautifully coordinated first look for us, made sure we got all of the shots we were looking for, and were always in position to capture the candid moments! We got married on 12/3/2022. Gabe, Virginia, and Hank were our photographers and they were amazing. They captured everything from getting ready to the ceremony to the reception. They took photos of the tiny details, including our rings, my jewelry, the wedding invitation, our shoes, his cufflinks. The candid photos they took throughout the night were my favorite - so genuine. You can't go wrong with this company. They're worth every penny.

MVP of our wedding??? Despite the bride and groom bringing their A game, Gabe’s performance was exquisite. Meticulous, organized, creative and charismatic throughout, Gabe and his team did such a beautiful job capturing our big day and making it that much more special. All the while doing it with a smile, getting his hands (and body, literally, this guy was facedown on the Philly streets in order to get the perfect lighting and angles) dirty, and cracking up everyone along the way. Gabe’s work is brilliant and his personality is infectious. His team (Virginia and Phil) also were all-stars, assisting with ANYTHING (the veil, train, suspenders, etc.) and ensuring we got the exact other shots. In closing, the pictures are dreamy, more than we could’ve asked for or imagined, and we’ll be using Phillip Gabriel photography for years to come.

This team is 100000% worth it! My husband and I loved every second working with Gabe and the team from the moment we started screening potential vendors and our first consultation with Gabe. Gabe knew our venues, other teams we’d identified we’d like to work with, recommended (but never pushed) other vendors for us to work with, and overall was a pleasure. We were so fortunate to have Susan Beard and her team from Philip Gabriel photography photograph our daughter’s wedding. The pictures are breathtaking. They captured every moment from Dad’s first look to the gently falling snow as we rang in the new year. Weddings last only a day but these pictures will be treasured a lifetime. At the end of the night I was sad to see her go.

The team was amazing to work with from start to finish - very detail oriented in the planning process to establish our photo shot list and create a timeline for the day, but was also amazingly flexible on the day of when some rain derailed our original plans. Gabe C came up with a great back up plan for photos under cover during the rain and was able to sneak in more shots that we really wanted outside when the rain cleared later in the day - they all turned out beautifully! Monica and Lauren were unbelievable photographers. They were personable, low-key, and had a great eye during the entire wedding day. They were both very familiar with our wedding venue and did an incredible job capturing candid moments as well as staged photos that were magazine worthy. We did a micro-wedding and they managed to capture every important moment throughout the day without us even knowing they were there! My husband and I were both blow away by how easy and enjoyable the day was, and much of it was due to their professionalism and good-natured personalities. Gabe is a "10/10 would-recommend-must-hire" type of vendor. I mean this with sincerity: he completed our day. His photos are absolutely stunning and capture the most special moments. He makes you SO comfortable in front of the camera and the comfort level allows you to look your best and most real self in every photo. He brought so much fun to our day it was unimaginable. He made us laugh until we nearly cried, boosted our confidence for different poses, kept everything running smoothly and on time, and even went as far as to talk the Philadelphia police into a police escort for us to arrive at the reception on time when we got stuck in the middle of a protest. What photographer does that??!! The number of comments we received from guests about how much they loved our photographer during our wedding was absurd - he was engaging with all the guests and never sat still. Whether he was laying down on the street to get the best angle or sprinting over to a candid moment, he was on his game the entire time (as was the entire rest of his team!). He took the time to understand who our immediate family was so he could capture their best moments. He made our grandparents feel like movie stars, made us as the bride and groom feel relaxed and at ease, and captured all the best shots of all of our loved ones. I would highly recommend that anyone high Gabe and his team for their event. We can't say enough good things and can say with confidence that booking him was one of the best decisions we made through all of wedding planning.

Gabe and his amazing team made our wedding day so special from start to finish! Gabe is a family friend of my parents and extremely well known in the wedding scene throughout the Philadelphia and greater Philadelphia region. We knew right away we wanted to book Gabe and his team without a question. They did not disappoint. From the moment I met with Gabe, it was like we had known each other for years, and funny enough, he had taken photos of an event I worked a few years prior. My now husband and I performed aerial acts at the 21st street Armory and Gave had photos to show us! Small world. After sticking with us through 2 postponed wedding dates, our day finally arrived and it was a HOT one. 93 degrees to be exact. Gabe and his team did not complain once and did everything in their power to make sure they got the best shots. From Olivia pinning my veil in, to Gabe laying flat on the floor of the church and Broad Street, to helping wipe makeup off of my husbands jacket, they were just incredible. In moments where I could have panicked, they eased the mood with their calm presence and professionalism. We had a very large wedding party and with a large wedding party comes some chaos when trying to take photos. Gabe knew exactly what to do and where to position everyone in a timely manner (and how to get some boisterous groomsmen to cooperate ;)) His patience with us was amazing! I had a phenomenal experience working with Philip Gabriel. We worked with Gabe Cariola and team. When we were choosing a photographer, we of course compared the quality and style of the portfolio. However, what I underestimated was how integral your photographer is to planning the day and ensuring the day runs smoothly and on time. Gabe and his team were amazing making sure everything ran smoothly. They were super fun to have around and made us feel really comfortable. While I have only seen our preview shots, I think their portfolio speaks for itself. It is a material investment, but worth it in my opinion. We were very happy with our decision.

I could not have asked for a better photography team. Everything-from the beginning planning stages to the end of the wedding evening-was perfect and ran smoothly. Gabe listened to everything I wanted and gave suggestions when needed. Everyone was so great dealing with all of the different personalities in the family and they were all so fun to work with! Gabe and team definitely helped make our day extra special and perfect. Could not rant enough!!

Professional, accommodating, funny, attentive and the pictures are beautiful. They exceeded our expectations and can't thank them enough for providing beautiful memories of a wonderful day!
Our wedding was 10/13/18, and wedding planning sure was stressful! The crew at Philip Gabriel made this whole process so much easier on me. The months leading up to the wedding I had been communicating with Anya a whole lot. She answered emails efficiently and called me to answer my questions. She put me at ease when I was feeling concerned about how the day would flow and assured me there was nothing to worry about. Well, she was right! These guys made my wedding day perfect! Gabe Fredericks guided us through Old City, Philadelphia, snapping photos of us in the most beautiful locations. The afternoon was seamless, and FUN! His sense of humor had us laughing the entire day. The crew made me and my husband, our bridal party and families feel comfortable throughout the day, as smiling for photos for hours can be strenuous, but the time passed by effortlessly. I just received all of my photos about a week ago. As if the day feeling perfect wasn't enough, these photos are absolutely magnificent. True pieces of art. I couldn't be happier with the outcome. Thank you guys for not just being wonderful photographers but also wedding planners, tour guides, and comedians to boot! We love Philip Gabriel!
We cannot say enough amazing things about Philip Gabriel Photography. We used them at our wedding on June 9, 2018 at the Crystal Tea Room we could not have asked for a better photography team! Gabe Fredericks and his entire team were absolutely AMAZING! They were all so much fun to be around and helped make the entire day go perfect. Anya was awesome and extremely responsive through the entire planning process and was so helpful throughout the entire wedding day as well! Gabe made sure to capture every moment of the day. He was lying down in the middle of the street getting the most incredible photos and we can’t thank them enough for capturing our special day. If they are available for your date, book them immediately! You will not regret it! I will definitely be using them in the future!
If I could give more than 5 stars for Philip Gabriel Photography, I would!! They were all so fun and easy to work with! I highly recommend them to anyone who needs professional photos! We genuinely laughed all day and they made us feel so comfortable in front of the camera! Our whole bridal party had a blast taking pictures. I cannot wait to see the finished product :)
I used Philip Gabriel Photography for my wedding June 9th, 2018 at the Bellevue in Philadelphia. The specific photographer at my wedding was Gabe Cariola of the two Gabe's. I cannot say enough positive things about my experience from start to finish with the company, especially Anya, who was so incredibly helpful every step along the way. I would use them again 100x over, and will likely use them again in the future! They are honest, respond quickly, and were a pleasure to work with. I have not seen the images yet, but have no doubt that they will be incredible. They were great about making the timeline and giving guidance on where to take pictures with adjustments that day. Gabe was so professional and had the best sense of humor, making everyone (especially my mom who hates taking pictures) at ease throughout the day. He was quick and efficient. I had not met him before that day and he was quick on his toes about making good decisions about our timeline according to that day. If you want to have fun with professionals on your big day and be able to relax as well has have a company that communicates very well with you, don't hesitate to book them! You will not be disappointed!
