Lock in your date(s)!
Given the nature of the event business, limited availability, and how far in advance others book their dates, we encourage our clients to secure their date as soon as possible. When you are ready to secure your reception date, we will also assist you with booking your private portrait session date! Due to most synagogues not allowing photography during the actual service itself, we typically aim to book your portrait session in the weeks leading up to your real Mitzvah Day. At this session, we will capture all of your desired family group shots and solo shots of your Mitzvah kid on the bima, and inside and outside of the synagogue.

About 4-5 months before Mitzvah Day your selected photographer will reach out to schedule an in person or over the phone meeting to help you finalize the details of your entire day and make note of any specific requests we should be aware of. We will work with you and your location, create detailed family shot lists, coordinate with the band on group photos, and do our best to cater to all family dynamics to take the stress out of any potential uncomfortable situations for you. Whatever it may be, we have got you covered!

The day we’ve all been waiting for is finally here! Our team is eager and ready to capture your day – rain or shine or even a blizzard. Sit back, relax, and bask in the celebration of your special Mitzvah girl or boy! While you enjoy being surrounded by all of your loved ones and closest friends, we will take care of the rest! While 2 of our master photographers are working their magic to capture every moment from all angles, our dedicated assistant will be helping to carry your dress and bouquet, offer tissues to Grandma, hold extra lighting, and everything in between. We’re here to make sure the day is seamless, and capture the moments even you didn’t get to see!

You did it! We couldn’t have been more honored to be a part of your child’s special day. Mitzvah day may have ended, but we are just getting started! We know you can’t wait to see and share your stunning image gallery, so we strive to deliver these to you as quickly as possible. Following Mitzvah day you can expect an email from our team with your mitzvah gallery and more information about the items included in your package. Our album designer and post production team will help walk you through the next steps to creating your perfectly retouched album and prints to commemorate your experience.
