Meet Gabe F.
Gabe Fredericks loves the versatility of photography. On one hand, he is able to capture a compelling moment in time while simply being a witness to it. On the other, he can create an image from scratch by lighting, styling, building a set and collaborating with others.
His interest in art began with painting and drawing and quickly transformed into photography after he took a darkroom class in college. He dual-majored in Fine Arts and Photography at Temple’s Tyler School of Art and is grateful to have learned the foundations of photography using film and darkrooms just prior to the switch to digital. Gabe absolutely loves being a photographer and business owner - for him, going to work doesn’t feel like work at all!
Gabe loves spending as much time as he can with his amazing wife Dawn and their three kiddos: Riley his 15 year old daughter, Mason his 12 year old son and Stogie his Newfoundland puppy. They love taking road trips, snowboarding, fishing, hunting and cheering each other on at the other’s sports games. If there is ever a moment to chill out, you can find them watching series like Yellowstone, Tulsa King, Outer Banks and Cobra Kai.
I can’t recommend Philip Gabriel Photography enough. Gabe, Sean, and Lia are true professionals and we had such a great time with them at our Philly wedding. We knew that we wanted to book them as soon as we saw their photos. From the first consultation to the actual wedding day there was consistent communication to ensure every detail and timeline was taken care of. Gabe is very familiar with our venue and knew all of the best surrounding areas for pictures, making that process effortless. We had asked for several rounds of larger family shots and Gabe was so accommodating and kept everyone comfortable and laughing. The team blended right in throughout the whole day and went out of their way to get the best shots. The attention to detail was incredible and the team was always on top of timing to make sure the day stayed on track. They made the entire day so easy and I can’t thank Gabe and team enough for the beautiful pictures and memories!
