Sawyer & Vincent’s Stunning Hyatt At The Bellevue Wedding | Philadelphia

Posted on March 10th, 2017 in Weddings by Gabe Fredericks

This gorgeous weather is teasing us…just a couple of weeks until full-blown spring!

We’re so happy that it’s right around the corner, since springtime is such an incredible time of year for a wedding. Sawyer and Vincent had their beautiful Philadelphia spring wedding at the Hyatt at The Bellevue. The blue skies and bright sunshine was a perfect backdrop for the happy couple’s love story. Sawyer told us a little bit of their history:

Vin and I met at the end of our sophomore year at the University of Richmond, so needless to say, by the time we tied the knot it had been nearly 8 years of dating (but well worth the wait!) We were together from my time studying abroad in Australia to his time in medical school, and everything else in between. We fell in love with the Bellevue from the moment we stepped inside and knew it was the perfect choice for a wedding, especially because it was in between my hometown in Pennsylvania and his in New York.

Sawyer and Vincent both got ready at the Hyatt at The Bellevue before they saw each other for their first look on the nineteenth floor. They were over the moon and so happy, they barely noticed that Philip Gabriel Photography was there capturing every minute of it!

The Hyatt at The Bellevue has a stunning restaurant on the nineteenth floor, aptly named XIX. After Sawyer and Vincent’s first look, we explored the space, including the balcony. We have to admit that XIX’s balcony has one of our favorite views of the city, and makes for gorgeous photographs.

After snapping several shots from nineteen stories up, we ventured down to street level, where Sawyer and Vincent posted for their iconic shots on Broad Street with City Hall in the background. Finally, it was time to head back to The Bellevue for the ceremony!

Sawyer and Vincent exchanged vows in the Rose Garden Ballroom, which provided a stunning backdrop for the couple to say “I Do!” Lamsback Floral Decorators created a gorgeous flower chuppah for the bride and groom to stand under with their families, where they were officially joined together.

After their beautiful ceremony, we headed to the reception, where we were completely blown away. The room was stunning! Lamsback wowed everyone with their lighting design, table settings, and gorgeous floral arrangements. The room looked incredible!

Not only was the room amazing, but the party was equally so! Once Sawyer and Vincent entered, the guests were laughing and dancing until the end of the evening. The sounds of CTO Park Central kept the guests out on the dance floor, and the night was peppered with touching remarks from family and friends.

The day was an amazing success! Sawyer and Vincent are a wonderful couple, and we could not have been happier to be there. documenting their day. Sawyer’s sweet smile shines through in all the images and is reflected in Vincent’s adoring eyes. From the images, no one can doubt how happy they are. It was a complete honor to be part of their day.

When we reached out to Sawyer she responded with some really lovely words about working with our team:

To be honest, Vin and I generally try to avoid taking photos (not the most photogenic!) and Vin even tried to convince me to not have a photographer, so we were adamant about finding someone who was an expert in capturing candids. And we did! From our first phone call to our in-person meeting to the day of the wedding, Gabe and his team were amazing. I can’t stress enough how incredibly professional, creative, helpful, and all around fantastic the team was and is. They made us feel so comfortable and kept us laughing all day. We truly had such a fun time!

And as Gabe had reassured us that he was a candid-capturing guru and that we would not be disappointed…well, he was right! The photos turned out amazing – and our friends and family won’t stop raving as well.Choosing our album photos has been so difficult because every one is a favorite. It was an honor to have worked with Gabe and his team! We would recommend him a million times over!

Wow! Thank you Sawyer and Vincent for your kinds words! We feel so lucky and blessed to have worked with this incredible couple for their wedding. We would love to speak with you more about having your wedding beautifully captured and preserved.
