Lindsey and Ryan | Ballroom at the Ben Wedding in Philadelphia

There’s only one thing better than a Philadelphia summer…and that’s a Philadelphia summer wedding!

Philip Gabriel Photography was honored to photograph Lindsey and Ryan’s beautiful summer wedding. The trees were a vibrant green, the flowers had bloomed their largest, and the sun sets late enough to allow for plenty of outdoor photography. We were able to capture so many fun moments throughout the day!

Lindsey shared an emotional moment with her mother and sister as she got ready for her big day in the room that she grew up in. There is so much feeling in these moments as anticipation builds and months of planning come to fruition, and everyone is excited a day filled with big reveals.

Speaking of reveals, we loved photographing the moment when Lindsey’s father first saw his daughter in her gorgeous wedding dress. There was hardly a dry eye in the house!

Finally, it was time for the “I Do’s.” Lindsey and Ryan exchanged vows at St. John the Evangelist in Philadelphia. As the newlyweds stepped outside of the church and into the summer sun, they were practically glowing. We couldn’t tell if it was from the July sunlight or their love for each other.

Lindsey and Ryan wandered the streets of Philadelphia with their wedding party, as the Philip Gabriel Photography team snapped photograph after photograph of each fun-filled moment. After a day in the sun, everyone was excited to head into the reception and grab an iced cold drink!

Finley Catering at the Ballroom at the Ben have never failed to amaze their guests! The food was delicious and the room looked incredible. Falls Flowers did an excellent job with the centerpieces, which perfectly matched the classic beauty of the ballroom.

We always love hearing from clients about the highlights of their relationship! When asked, Lindsey and Ryan told us all about how they met: “We met while working for the Philadelphia Eagles after graduating college in the summer of 2008. We worked side by side in the same department and sat next to each other everyday for 3 years before we started dating.

Our engagement took place on the field, at Lincoln Financial Field, and could not have been a more perfect beginning to the rest of our lives together, followed by an unbelievable wedding with all of our family and friends by our sides a little over a year later.”

We love their sweet beginnings and the Lincoln Financial Field proposal! So awesome! Congrats again, Lindsey and Ryan.We were so happy to work with you two and document this incredible day. Best wishes to you and your families!
