A Photo Booth Under The Stars In Media
Silly glasses, sparkly hats, mustaches, a good time, and great food. Philip Gabriel Photography had the privilege of hosting our PG Pop Up photo booth at Media’s Dining Under The Stars.
We really love being a part of the Media, PA community. Every Wednesday evening during the summer, the restaurants on State Street in Media (and surrounding side streets) set up tables outside so that their patrons can “dine under the stars.” The event started in 2010 and has been a huge hit every year since then, attracting thousands of patrons every Wednesday to enjoy Media’s restaurants and community atmosphere.
We set up our free photo booth on State Street to capture some fun moments with those enjoying the beautiful evening! We brought props, hats, boas, chalkboards, and masks that people could wear to create a fun, memorable moment in the middle of the street.
Some of our favorite moments:
One woman went out to Dining Under the Stars for her 60th birthday. She and her “honorary daughter” got decked out with funky boas, glasses, and a tiara! They returned again later for a second photo, after dining at one of Media’s excellent restaurants.
We also loved when one couple walked up to us and wanted just a nice photo of them together with out any props. We found out quickly that it was their thirty-third wedding anniversary, and we wrote a little note on our chalkboard for them! A few minutes later, the man returned with one of his granddaughters for another photo. We love moments like that!
Congratulations Bob and Jenna Hart and Jake and Christian who will receive a $50 gift card to our studio! These winners got the most likes from tagging themselves in our photos on Facebook and in photos they posted with the hashtag on Instagram. Thanks to everyone who participated and all those who came out to get a fun free photo at our photo booth! We will see you next week!
