Laura and Mike’s Cescaphe Ballroom Wedding

Posted on February 17th, 2014 in Weddings by Gabe Fredericks

Laura & Mike’s beautiful Philadelphia wedding ceremony took place at the historical Old Saint Joseph’s Church in the Old City part of Philadelphia. Following their ceremony, they celebrated with their family and friends at the Cescaphe Ballroom. These venues made for a spectacular backdrop to photograph Laura and Mike on their wedding day.

The fall colors made for a great afternoon background in Old City Philadelphia. Laura and Mike’s day started off with a beautiful morning at the Hyatt Regency at Penn’s Landing. We love this part of the day because there are always lots going on and intimate moments beings shared.

One of our favorite moments that we were able to document was when Laura’s father saw her for the first time in her wedding gown. Laura’s father wasn’t the only guy in her life that had the privilege of seeing her prior to waling down the isle. Laura and Mike planned a “reveal” at Head House Square where they were able to see each other prior to their ceremony.

The ceremony really beautiful, especially in the historic venue of Old Saint Joeseph’s Church. After the ceremony, the Cescaphe trolley traveled around Philadelphia where we were able to capture some really great moments with the newly-married couple.

Laura and Mike then returned to the Cescaphe Ballroom in Northern Liberties to enjoy an amazing cocktail reception with their family and friends. Once again, the Cescaphe Event Group didn’t miss a beat with their wonderful spread and delicious food.

It’s always a privilege to be given the opportunity to document and preserve a wedding day. Being able to “halt the moment in time,” so that later on in life our clients can reminisce on the moments they shared with each other. Thank you Laura and Mike for asking us to document your wedding day and congratulations on your new life together!
