All I can say is, What A Day!
Lauren and Mike’s engagement shoot started out a bit late and tiring for both of them… Lauren and Mike are not city folk, and they are not having a city wedding, so… they thought it might be a nice contrast to have their engagement photos documented in the city. This past Friday evening we met in the city and shot these photographs. Rain was in the forecast, so we decided to meet up at city hall where we would have cover from the rain if needed. Lauren and Mike had a difficult time navigating their way through the city. So, their shoot that was scheduled for 4:00 ended up starting around 5:45. Lauren wore fabulous red boots, but these boots were not made for walking…LOL! And, Mike heard all about it on is walk from Rittenhouse Square ( where they found a parking garage ) to City Hall… You can imagine that by the time they met up with us; Mike’s frustrated from city chaos, Laurens feet are killing her, its raining, and now they feel bad because they kept us waiting for them. What do I say ” NO WORRIES GUYS!!! LET”S HAVE SOME FUN!!!”
I felt so bad for both of them. Lauren had an idea of how she dreamt this day would go, and it didn’t start out that way… But as you will see from the images below, her concerns disappeared.
We had a blast!!!!! G2 and I got them loosened up and forgetting all about the previous hours and in the now. Lauren and Mike were so much fun to be with and so cute with each other. We made some cool photographs in and around City Hall playing with the city lights and city architecture. I believe in making the best out of any situation.
Lauren and Mike, Thank you, Thank you for the events that took place on Friday. Had the shoot not started so late we would never had gotten all these great night images. You guys were AWESOME!!!!
